Specialising in Digital Transformation and Innovation for companies looking to reinvent their product line or business focus. I am a passionate entrepreneur with experience in building B2B products, internal tools, API's and brand creation. Consulting for fintech and e-commerce startups, I am able to utilise my technical and operational expertise to quickly deliver on projects requiring a wide range of skillsets. When a company decides to embark on an innovation strategy I serve as needed from ideation to scale, acting as Product Owner or Operations Lead while recruiting new members as the strategy unfolds. Usually reporting directly to a board of management or steering committee, I deliver easy to digest executive summaries to aid in the review process, from organising and gathering client requirements to explaining market trends and retrospectives on what has been successful during development, what has failed, and what opportunities lay ahead. I have extensive experience in API design, development, documentation and testing for both large corporate and startup use cases. For startups the focus is on speed of software development, incorporating off the shelf solutions and versioning to move quick and test product variations often with a few large customers to start. Large corporations require standardisation through API Governance and refined global naming structures that allow for API's to be clearly segmented based on the customer handling the integration. In all cases clear to understand documentation is crucial to both commercialise and integrate the API efficiently. I prefer to be included/responsible for all aspects of the API to deliver the best result for the end-user, our customers development team. I spend my free time enhancing my technical skills through small tech projects such as home automation and learning courses from AWS or Google which allows me to better communicate and relate to developers and their needs.
